About Neighborly Auto Care
Our Story
Owner Kalvin Kelley was raised in Blackfoot, Idaho and that was where his love for cars and the outdoors began. Many hours were spent exploring the beautiful mountains of Idaho's backcountry. Besides his love for fishing, hunting and backpacking, Kalvin worked on cars and has even raced in Mad Marvin's Figure 8 Races a few times.
He graduated from Blackfoot High School (Go, Broncos!) and then went on to complete a Bachelor's degree at BYU-Idaho in Advanced Vehicle Systems, with a Minor in Business Management; along with certifying as an ASE Master Mechanic.
When he is not busy with his hobbies or working on a car, he spends his spare time with his wife and family. Together they like to be outside, cook good food, and plan their next road trip adventure.
